Slow Start

So today was a speed walking kind of day. And I tell ya, walking at a decidedly faster pace everywhere  you go for a whole day makes the calves burn somethin fierce!
I'd love to try prancercise some time though! If anyone's tried it, for sure let me know how it went! It just seems like so much fun to not even care that you're PRANCING for goodness sakes. (Although I have danced in public. It is not a rare occurrence even a little.)

First Post!

Happy Tuesday! I know it's an odd day to start a blog, but as they say, no time like the present! So I'm doing the 31 Day Challenge from the Nesting Place ( http://www.thenester.com ) and I'm going to be talking fitness! I know, I know, you're probably like, but I've already SEEN fitness blogs! But I'm trying something different! - or at least I think I am. My focus here is just MOVING. No plan, no rigorous method. Just MOVING and getting active, whatever that means. For me, it's primarily putting on some headphones, and dancing like nobody's watching (and if they are, so what!)

So hopefully everyone can bear with me, as I myself find some motivation to get moving and take some movement breaks - goodness knows I need them!
